Vagrant Story Coming to PSN Tomorrow

Vagrant Story is one of my favorite games ever (check the user name) and it's great to see this finally coming out on PSN. While I don't think it's a game that many people are just going to pick up and get into due to a lot of really complex systems that can make jumping in the first time a real pain (like not realizing why every attack is only doing 1 damage and what you need to do to make that not happen or having a different weapon for each enemy type) the people who can get past that are in for a treat.

$6 is a good price on this and I think it's worth taking a look at by anyone who's an RPG or Action/RPG fan, just be prepared for something a little slower paced than you may expect.

Side note, anyone else think all of this releasing of these classic SquareSoft era games is just SquareEnix trying to recover as much financially as they can from the abysmal year they had last year?

Hasn't this been out in the UK for ages?

I know that we EU players already have Vagrant Story and i'm happy that its finally being delivered to the NA psn but I hope to god Xenogears comes to the EU store along with Parasite eve 1 and 2 because if they don't then I might just switch over to xbox and wii permanantly (I normally play a bit of all my consoles - Wii, 360 and ps3).

FINALLY!! Yes! Even though I own the original Vagrant Story disc (I think) I am glad it was released on PSN for others, I will still get the PSN version in case I can't find my disc. This RPG is extremely recommended >:O

Do they need to re-release these games when I don't have access to both my psp and ps3?

Oh hell yes! Vagrant story coming to the PSN classics! Such a great rare gem, the game storytelling and scene coordination was ahead of its time. Hopefully the PSN version would let the game render its cutscenes without loading times every once in awhile.

excellent news, I lost my old copy back in the day and I'll be glad to get it back via PSN.

If only I had a PS3 i would buy this game again, and maybe this time the random number generator would FINALLY HAVE AN ENEMY DROP THE LIGHT SPELL I NEVER GOT MY FIRST 3 TIMES PLAYING!!!
