You guys know of that game Homefront, right? Lots of shooting, interesting setting, releasing March 15th this year all while looking fairly legit? I was pumped but now I think it's butt.

I don't care. This is a game about shooting. I will play it hoping to shoot many, many things at many other things. No matter how magnificent those story and characters are, if there is a lot more of them than shooting, I will be pissed. Realistically speaking, there won't be. Most of the game will be shooting, which is fine, but now that I have seen it....yeech. It's Kall of Duty.

There looks to be some pretty generous hit detection going on the too. The knife kill seemed to float in front of the guy a bit and the scoped in headshot at the end seemed to be aiming to the left of the guys head. I wasn't expecting anything great but was hoping to maybe get a Singularity like surprise out of the game, but looks like my initial thoughts were about right.

Oh and by the way, the Homefront devs on the games forum are saying the footage seen here is from A VERY EARLY Beta.
Whatever though, I wouldn't be surprised if they were just bullshitting everyone...

Looks like a generic, cookie-cutter FPS. Nothing that peaks my interest yet, though the story is pretty cool.

Well, there's always Battlefield 3!
Homefront looks absolutely awful. I mean even Haze had better blood animations. God damn, what a disappointment, I thought this game would have some potential.

this game is meh....to be honest not many new fps games that are coming out have something new to add to the fps shooting formula....I mean will anyone play this when the new Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare comes out? My guess is no. I bet you carlos will put more hours in Killzone 3 than in this game, because Killzone got that class system. I will get Battlefield 3 for sure though, Their sound and the destruction is second to none. Kinda sad when you hear other gun sounds in other fps games.

I would expect that sirens would have a different sound by now, sounds like its right out of Return of Castle Wolfenstien.

You wanna see a complete change from beta to alpha?
Look at FEAR 2 early builds. I'm quite positive they had completely changed the engine (for worse in my opinion)

Waaaah!!! it's a FUC*ING GAME, NERDS! There is pure violence, that's all I need. The setting looks great, the story looks great and regardless if it's the best game or worst game on the planet, stop bashing until you've played it. Once you've actually played it and formed a real opinion, only then may your Holy knowledge of video games be vomited, regurgitated or simply put, pooped out of your no girlfriend having mouths.
