In my planning for the new year there are certain weeks I know I'll get nothing done. These are the weeks where a game I love gets released and the entire world stops around me. The week of 11.11.11 is on that list, for obvious reasons, and now I can add another. April 12th marks the release of Motorstorm: Apocalypse, and I can finally once again feel that vibrant rush of hot air as I take suicidal jumps at breakneck speed.
I've never been a fan of racing games except for the Motorstorm franchise. With their great track designs, fantastic sense of speed and spectacular crashes, I was hooked from the first moment I got into the drivers seat.

Can't wait for this. The dev diaries that I've seen make the game look amazing, can't wait to try out the new car classes :D

Agreed, watched the dev diary yesterday and it looks super fun!
Its great to see this franchise progressing! April 12th will have me hooked to my sofa for a good few days.

Just somethin kinda funny has happened to me at this moment in time... I'll walk ya through it. A few weeks ago a friend of mine gave back my copy of Fuel that he'd borrowed god knows how long ago. I popped it in having fond memories of it and quickly started thinking "man I wanna play some Motor Storm". Then upon hitting the title screen of that I had a big moment of AW CRAP! When reallizing my Motor Storm save file was on my PS3 that fried within the first month of getting it, so I just happily started over since that meant I wasn't in the final tier getting my butt whooped and being frustrated like crazy. Then by tier 2 I was like man I've never played Pacific Rift have I? Wonder if it's finally gone down in price (I usually just rent so I honestly wasn't sure) I checked, then literally that moment upon calling to be sure it was in stock got in the car and drove an hour to pick it up. I've been playin it like CRAZY, and upon seeing this article JUST NOW remembered OMG Apocalypse comes out soon! It's just kinda weird to me lol I've been bombarded with Motor Storm lately and it just keeps gettin better and better. God I love video games... *rest fingers, you have done well.*
