A demo for Dead Space 2 is set to arrive on December 21st on XBLA and PSN. Not sure if this is going to be the same playable section we've seen at both E3 2010 or PAX 2010, but at least now you'll get a chance to play it without first having to stand in line for 2 hours with the rest of the unwashed masses.
Dead Space executive producer Steve Papoutsis notes, "Releasing the demo five weeks before launch will not only reconnect players with our hero Isaac Clarke, but will also give them the opportunity to experience firsthand various jaw-dropping scenarios. It's gonna be awesome."

Now I can finally see what demo players were talking about with a faster Isaac. I don't imagine the gameplay to be radically different but this still has me very excited.

Yes! Can't wait for it I just hope they decided to put a short multiplayer beta along with it. If not then oh well at least I still got the 15 mins of free gameplay
