I find it frustrating just how criminally ignored Phantagram's Kingdom Under Fire 2 has become. The first gameplay footage was released ages ago, and the game looked amazing then. While the series often gets incorrectly compared to Dynasty Warriors, this new co-op gameplay footage shows off some of the game's strategy elements. Also, combat looks way more savage than anything in Dynasty Warriors.

The butt-rock music always killed my Lord of the Rings fantasy in the older games. But with the Xbox 360's elegant way of handling custom soundtracks, I can have all of my LotR movie soundtracks playing in the background. This is going to be fucking rad! FOR FRODO!!!!!

Anyway, here's the trailer:

And the older footage:

The game looks really cool graphics wise, the Koreans have nice art styles.
And the game mechanics looks interesting.
Apparently it will be released on PC as well (Steam?) which I'm really happy about, because I like playing fantasy games, but I don't feel like playing a MMORPG like Aion, Guild Wars or Lineage 2.
Also haven't played a strategy game for a while, might be interesting to pick this up. :)

I'm sold. I don't know how this game has gone under my radar but the battles look amazing. Has there been a release date announced or even a ballpark? Really excited after watching these videos.

This definitely looks good. Both the game play and the graphics are quite interesting. I must look into this more. To the internet!!!

holy crap. I love how they captured a all out battle, and still made it have some strategy mixed in there. I can't even think about how sick this game is going to be.

I looked through Gamefly and they don't even have it listed. Not even as TBD, so that you can put it in your Queue of games. What the hell.

I really have a thing for these "huge 3rd person battle" games. So I think I'll check this out

I've never heard of this before, nor the first one, but DAMN this looks cool; theres a lot of enemies on screen, but it still looks tactical, though admittedly a clusterfuck.
    this has me interested ;)

Kingdom Under Fire: Crusaders and KuF: Heroes were fantastic games. Couldn't get into Circle of Doom, but I'm glad they're going back to their large scale RTS roots.

I must say the animations for this game look very fluid and dynamic, too bad I don't have an Xbox 360 or I might have picked up this game.

That game looks awesome, I played Kingdom Under Fire 1 before, It was ok since Blueside took a different route, And made it more like a hack and slash RPG where you run from map to map. I'm curious about this though.

A friend of mine had mentioned this game to me about a month ago. I hadn't heard much about it or the first game. The concept of fighting amidst a larger scale war scenario has always intrigued me. Most of the time it is handled haphazardly, and the battlefield is filled with mush brained AI that only serve as a backdrop for your character's killing spree. I don't know too much about this game right now, but I would hope that the battles involve a bit more than running around smashing enemies. Giving the gamer actual options for troop deployment/movement is a simple step that increase the connection to the battlefield. (The trailer does appear to have simplistic troop command structure.)

I also do enjoy that the game subscribes to the fantasy law of "women wear almost no armor to become more powerful." Fighting on a battlefield with such eye candy gives me so much more encouragement and purpose... I think. That or I just like eye candy... boobies!
