This is the U.S. FFXIII Theme Song

Could possibly work, but the general standard of FF main themes is way too high to match, and this song definitely doesn't make the cut.

It doesn't seem to fit, but you never know.

Leona Lewis has a good voice but I don't think the song fits though...they could have gone with another song by her from her recent album though like "Brave"

This song has encapsulated exactly the feeling that the trailers have tried to convey. A melodramatic feelings-fest, similar to a Simple and Clean. Much more of a gospel beat to it though.

good vocals, but music is just a little off. To much focus on the beat and not the melody( it starts at 1:32). Not my favorite.

This makes no sense.

The lyrics for previous FF themes have always had a better fit to what happens in the story. This just sounds like a song put in for the sake of having a song in the game.

I still reserve my final opinion until I play the game... but it doesn't feel like it fits. It feels all wrong.

Don't get me wrong, this sounds like a good song, just not a Final Fantasy theme. For a FF, this is WEAKSAUCE.

...maybe because they are "trying to appeal to the West"? Bringing RnB/Soul music? I don't know x.x Its not...exactly what I thought.

I personally don't see what any of you guys are talking about. I've been a final fantasy fan for a long time now, played all of them (excluding V, that one still eludes me >.<), and I think the song perfectly fits what Ive seen from the trailers. Still my most anticipated game of next year

the song didn't do anything to me. the theme song of ff 9 was badass (melodies of life).

After listening to this song alot recently Ive concluded that Leona has such a beautiful voice, and it's beautiful piece of song writing perfectly fitting to that of the FF series. I imagine it will fit in with the narrative very well - especially with any character romances.
However i feel that the beat is a bit to strong - perhaps they should lower the volume of the beat as I feel it is slightly overpowering the piano melody.

ugh what a horrible choice in music. if i wanted to listen to mediocre female singers that dont write their own songs, and emphasize vibrato WAY too much i would listen to the radio.
video game music is usually a good escape from this crap

hmm i'm rather disapointed with the song.. although i was already intending on importing this pushes me more in the direction... what a terrible choice.
