Nick Nick Nick Nick Nick. It's not 'The' Deftones. It's just Deftones. What kind of learnin' did you get son?

But seriously. I get what you mean by crowds ruining an experience. My buddy and I saw Sleep last year and the crowd was nothing but 6' 3'', long-haired, smelly stoners. Could hardly see the stage and everyone was pretty gross. I get that the band is known for an album called Dopesmoker, but can we try to not lean into the stereotype too much?

Enjoyed the E3 coverage and look forward to more podcasting throughout the year.

I listened to that Cyberpunk audio- I could be wrong, but the female "V" character sounds kind of like the English voice actress of Triss.

The Last Jedi remake is not needed. Everyone knows the Scientist Man from Red Letter Media already has a plan to save Star Wars!

You guys briefly mentioned Beyond Good and Evil 2 and I've seen a lot of confusion about crowdsourced efforts.

I'm just here to give a TL;DR summarization of how (most) crowdsource gaming projects work. I've worked on several similar projects and think this might help clear up the FAQs.

    - If an artist agrees to send in any work, it is no longer 'theirs'. If it doesn't meet requirements, it'll be edited, copied, or scrapped and/or redesigned. (Many artist struggle to see that)

    - People who exemplify great talent of understanding the visual style may be selected to sign an NDA, get assigned to specific tasks, and privatized servers of all the existing assets in the game to edit at will and add their own.

    - only artists that are accepted into an NDA or provide a TON of quality work will be compensated with money. A lot of crowdsource projects reimburse the artists' time and efforts with free shit, like a free copy of the game, or a professional reference to be used on their resumes.

    - there's probably not a lot they're allowing free crowdsourced artists to take over here. If anything, it's texture packs, asset assembly, environment tweaking,"little things".

My theory is that they're using this as not only an interactive way to polish their game, but also a promotion for whatever the fuck company Joseph Prettyboy Levitt was going on about. "Everybody wins!" - BGaE2

Expect to see more backlash against sony when rocket league rolls out their version of an epic account. RL is going to have cross platform friends lists and party up systems when they implement RL accounts later this year.
