Our first full day in Los Angeles is complete and we look back on the announcements coming out of the first 3 big conferences of the show: EA, Microsoft, and Bethesda! While EA and Bethesda had a couple high profile announcements, they delivered some rather disappointing lineups. With that said, Microsoft came to E3 with a slew of new games to talk about along with new hardware with a confusing and mildly hilarious name. I was quite dissappointed after seeing anthem. After mass effect andromeda was sort of a mess i was hoping that the main Bioware studio would revitalize their formula. They have had issues with bloat since mass effect 3, and they have received the message about what they need to refine. They just need to apply the right lessons, and make the next amazing game in the vein of mass effect 2.
What we get instead is a destiny clone. Which is because a game can't simply be an amazing self encapsulated experience. It needs to be a service. It needs to be able to make money in perpetuity. Which is fairly despressing.
