Darksiders II for the Wii U Has a Trailer and Extra Content

In the long list of launch titles for the Wii U is a game we've been playing a lot of recently, Darksiders 2.

Now Nintendo has released a trailer for the Wii U release which will be coming this fall with extra content. The Wii U version will contain the first DLC expansion, entitled Argul's Tomb, and also include all the pre-order bonuses from the various editions.

The screen on the Wii U will be used to view the map and objectives, and to manipulate the inventory. I found going into the menus a bit slow on the 360 version so this is one of those additions I think will be a major boon to the game...and really any game for that matter.

Check out the official trailer for the Wii U version of Darksiders 2 below.

The one thing I do love about the Wii U tablet controller is that it completely eliminates the need for in game menus. All of that stuff can be done through the little screen in your hands. For games like these that just makes things so much smoother I think. Plus if there are people who prefer the in game menus I'm sure they could easily include that for use with pro controllers or something.

Sounds good. If there was one thing Darksiders 2 lacked it was proper inventory management.
