New Grand Theft Auto 5 Screens Go ZOOM and VROOM...

...and whatever sound a bicycle makes.
Rockstar today released some screenshots for Grand Theft Auto 5 which, actually, seem much more like teaser images than actual story, or character related, screens. In fact, the bicycle one looks more like a stock photo you would find in a deodorant add.
They are pretty though, so much so that I find it hard to believe that Rockstar would be releasing another GTA game within this generation. (I actually don't)
Most of all, though, I'm just getting a strange feeling about this one. There was no major rollout for this title like we saw for GTA 4. Just a mention, a somewhat un-alluring teaser, and now this slow trickle of screens. Compare that with how GTA 4 was handled and it's worlds apart.
Rockstar is saying that there will be more coming this week, so perhaps now is the time for the pomp and circumstance I've been expecting.

Looking at the pilot in the jet, and seeing as he is not wearing piloting gear and just looks like some dude in a jet I'm assuming that is the/one of character(s) we get to play. Looking back at the original trailer he looks kind of like the dude in the suit looking over the city. I guess those rumours might have been true then. I'm quite excite.

Link / ReplyJets, cars, and a bike. Sorry but the excitement is just lacking so far. I just hope they don't take the route of the Saints Row series. I rather hated that series, and thought it was a bit childish, and unappealing. MEHHH~
Link / ReplyGTA 4 was/is one of the best selling games of all time, and Saints Row isn't, I don't think Rockstar is shitting themselves trying to figure out how Saint's Row ticked. As for the images, it's pretty much just "Remember, shit will be pretty" aside from the jet image. It looks like they listened to the fans about wanting to fly those and are going to put it in. As long as it's GTA and Rockstar is doing it, along with their improvements to their shooting they showed in Max Payne 3, with being the closest thing to good story tellers video games have, they can just show me the logo for the next few months and I'll be happy.
