Epic Games Now Owns People Can Fly

Epic Games and the Warsaw, Poland-based developer People Can Fly always seemed like a good fit. They both revel in a sort of masochistic sense of of humor and their visions of the world play off each other in such a way that you can believe that Grayson Hunt (Bulletstorm) is totally next door neighbors to Marcus Fenix.
Now the creative relationship that Epic and People Can Fly was made official when Epic Games bought the majority share of stock in People Can Fly, giving them ownership.
"We doubled down on People Can Fly," Epic's Mark Rein told Polygon. "It was something we always hoped to do."
Does this mean that we might be getting a little Painkiller and Bulletstorm spice in our future Epic Games? Perhaps, and I think it would be a great fit. For as sullen and serious as the Gears of War franchise is, I think it could probably do with a little of the black-humor levity that People Can Fly are good at providing...and we'll get a chance to see what they can do with the series when Gears of War: Judgment is released. And if not GOW, then something else great can surely come of this relationship.

I sincerely hope this means they'll go back on their "No sequel" plans for Bulletstorm

Link / ReplyI hope this means they can make a game as unique Painkiller was and not something that is complete dog shit like GOW and Bulletstorm
