Server Problems Plague Hybrid's First Day
By Joseph Christ on August 8th, 2012 (4 comments)

Hybrid has been released but it looks like the 5th Cell developed, third-person shooter, is having some big problems on its first day.
Server crashes and instability are making online games, and sometimes even just getting to the main menu, completely unavailable for new players. 5th Cell's Jeremiah Slaczka has responded on the Hybrid forums in a thread ominiously named "Servers are down", stating that Microsoft is currently looking into the issue.
"Microsoft who hosts them are looking into the issue. We'll let you know very shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience."
Needless to say, having the first day of an online-based game crippled by server problems is probably the worst thing that can happen to a game. Hopefully Hybrid can make it over this potentially serious hump. If you were looking into dropping the $15 dollars today to get in on the action, buyer beware, and check the forums first.

Link / ReplySo I take it as the Beta was a little smoother than the full release? Thanks stinks. . . maybe they can bounce back in the long run.
