New Primal Carnage Video Shows Off Even More Awesomeness

Ok, perhaps I'm a little biased toward games that include dinosaurs these days but, quite frankly, we need more of them.  The trio of titles I talked about last year are looking to change that and the last one to be released, Primal Carnage, is looking better than ever.  With the game due to enter its open beta phase soon, the team at Lukewarm Media will be doing a series of character showcases to demonstrate a class from each side of the human versus dinosaur conflict.

This first showcase demonstrates the Carnotaurus and the Pyroaniac.  The Carnotaurus seems to be the middle-ground species between the Velociraptor and the T-Rex and boasts a headbutt ability that will send humans flying, not unlike what is seen in the Charger from Left 4 Dead.  The Pyromanic, as the name implies, comes with a flamethrower with a chainsaw bayonet attached, something you normally don't see in titles not made by Epic Games.

Whichever side you choose in the conflict, both classes look great.  You can sign up here for the beta when they begin soon.

I've been trying to tell people about this game for months! When the dinosaurs can coordinate their attacks, it looks good and frightening as it does in left4dead versus.
