Yes, you're reading this right: yet another moment for me to talk about Dishonored, Bethesda and Arkane Studio's excellent new IP. It was our Game of the Show for E3 2012 and you're about to see why.
The following videos are the exact same things we got to see behind closed doors at E3. I'll let you watch it; no need to spoil it for you.

I am 4Player's video and feature producer. I've been writing about games for years and I enjoy every minute of it. I'm pro-developer and I have a few friends who have gone on to successful careers in the industry. I may only be an amateur but I've got things to say.

Both styles look really fun. I imagine I'll be playing through this game several times.
Link / ReplyThis game looks like it's pushing the bar so high that certain kinks are more noticeable, like how the player was able to sneak out of the room with the mirrors so easily. I'm curious to see what the upgrades are like.
Link / ReplyWhy are they doming this on Xbox and not PC? Possessing seems to be a bit too easy. Turn in to a fish, swim into a building, turn into a human. I was under impression that you leave your body behind and need to comeback to it to be effective and progress through the level.
Link / ReplyI am going to assume that you have not been paying attention to this title at all because the game has been confirmed for PC and the option of possessing and not leaving your body behind was explained quite a while ago. Personally I find the aspect of possessing someone and not leaving your body behind a welcome new mechanic and should make game play more unique.
Link / ReplyReally enjoyed the stealth play through although I thought the direct one was a bit too messy and silly. I think I'll go stealth all the way through.
Link / ReplyI hope there is a way to somehow balance the two methods through different missions and for the game to maybe give you an incentive to go one way sometimes and the other at other times
Link / ReplyI am so excited for this game to be released. Thanks for sharing!
