By Joseph Christ on October 31st, 2011 (35 comments)

This new Cocktail Time can only be described as a mess. A wonderful, drunken mess. Joseph Christ sit's down with Nick Henderson and Bob Webb to discuss some video games but the conversation continually get's derailed again and again. Topics of discussion include Rage, Gears of War 3, Dinosaurs, the movie Bloodsucking Freaks, backyard wrestling, Dark Souls and more!
Listen to it...and then let's just forget it ever happened.

Awesome
Link / ReplySo far hearing Nick's reaction to seeing Joseph's balls has made this the best Cocktail Time yet.
Link / ReplyAh the triumphant return, and one of the first topics is men's underwear...or lack thereof.
Link / ReplyNice to see another Cocktail Time. I'll give this a listen tomorrow.
Link / ReplyFor Nick: I heard Samsung is not the best brand for TVs since they are basically impossible to repair in the US; no one has the parts. I needed to get my older Samsung LCD TV repaired a couple years ago but I couldn't because most the shop said that most of the parts were irreplaceable. I hear LG and Sony are pretty solid though.
Link / ReplyGlad im gonna listen to this while I do the dishes.
Link / ReplyThis can only be good... I can't wait to listen.
Link / ReplyOh man, I've been waiting for this. Thank you, Joseph
Link / ReplyAm I dreaming? Has the next CT really come out? Wonderriffic. :D
Link / ReplyThank u
Link / ReplyHooray! I'm a mess!
Link / ReplyThanks Joseph been waiting for ages!! As for the "mess" isnt that the point of cocktail time. =D
Link / ReplyLmfao...the whole part with nick talking about gow3 and rage, talking how he likes rage more than gow3. I guess its just funny because he never finished rage, even though he likes the shooting, the world, and story. Now that i think about it, does nick even like competitive shooters? Like i know he got into ODST(really?)...
Link / ReplyThis conversation only took place after having played about an hour of Rage. My feelings about that game changed pretty significantly after a few more hours with the game.
Link / Reply*fist pumping as podcast downloads* best halloween ever!
Link / ReplyYes! Another Cocktail time finally.
Link / ReplySo glad you finally put this up, Joseph! I've already listened to it twice and probably will again tonight while working. Loved it, as always. My favorite part of the show was when Nick, after seeing Joseph's balls, said, "Ami wants to see it again." Made me laugh so hard.
Link / ReplyI wonder how many times Nick is going to be genuinely surprised when Joseph says he doesn't wear underwear. And how many times he'll bring up "I've slept in your bed!"
Link / ReplyTo Bob: The Phantom that invaded you in the sewers is actually a npc phantom that invades everyone in the sewers if they re in human form. which is also the reason why he couldn't really fight that good ;)
Link / ReplyYeah, I realized that the next day when I fought the butcher chick down in Blighttown. NPC black phantoms was something I did not expect to find in the game. More reasons as to why Dark Souls is fucking awesome.
Link / ReplyI've got about 20 minutes of empty space at the end of mine - does anyone else have this? As far as TVs go, my parents have a Samsung LCD in their living room and I've got one myself, both of which we've each had for a few years now. No problems whatsoever, and I don't anticipate we'll see any. Bob's right, when you look across the entire lifespan of how long you'll have the TV, you've got to weigh just how much that extra $200 means in the long run. I think I heard from one of my business profs back in the day when I was in university, Sony gets all their parts from Samsung anyway, so they're essentially the same TVs. I've never entirely trusted LG, but to be fair I've never had an LG TV so it's not as if I have particular reason to distrust them either. I'll vouch for Samsung all the way though. I do think Sony has some kind of sync-up deal with their TVs and PS3s, I'm not sure how far it goes (it might be as simple as your TV remote can also operate your PS3 and nothing further). I'd have to research that more to speak with any authority on that point.
Link / ReplyYeah Greg, It's 1 hour and 36 Minutes long, but they end the show at 1 hour and 16 minutes. Not sure what happened, but Joseph might have to go back and edit the show again.
Link / ReplyIndeed. I'll be fixing that.
Link / Reply" Did you get that text i sent you nick?" "The Big Black Dicks One?" God Bless Cocktail Time xD
Link / ReplyHaha, brilliant as usual. I love how the music stops as Joseph begins to talk about slavery and then starts up again when they begin their toasts. XD
Link / ReplyI've noticed the sound quality is better when Joseph plays sound clips. Maybe a benefit of using Audacity?
Link / ReplyI noticed that too. In past podcasts it seemed like every time someone made a peep it would chew up the sound clip that was playing. Not so in this episode.
Link / ReplyYup. Using Audacity to record has made the quality much better. When people talk over each other, or I play something,it no longer chews up the sound.
Link / ReplyFinally!
Link / Reply"It taste like giving analingus to someone who has been douching with kerosene" nuff said
Link / ReplyYes! Been waiting for Cocktail Time!
Link / Reply"It takes me a lot of wheres" LMAO. Keep it coming Joseph
Link / Replyregarding the Coltrain reference; this is from The Royal Tenenbaums : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1zGQrybWi0
