this should be interesting.I remember brad asked this on twitter last week and would love to hear your guys' ideas

Link / ReplyI think multiplayer would actually detract from Hitman. You guys have to remember, it's not directly competing with titles like Spy Party and Assassin's Creed. Giving it online multiplayer would throw to many variables into a game that's all about keeping control of a giving situation current situation, and manipulating events to your favor. Hitman already has a fairly solid formula, I think going forward the only think they need to change to keep it relevant is improving presentation. The learning curve may be step, but it's very rewarding once you master controls and technique.
Link / ReplyI think we agree with you Milk, but in an age where everyone expects more from their game, even the original Bioshock got some flak for having just a single player. And with the sequel they decided to stick one in there. I could care less for a multi-player component, but I think most players aren't like that.
Link / ReplyI know what you guys mean and understand where you're coming from for the most part, multi-player has become somewhat of an industry standard and it's just kind of expected in any major release at this point in time. I'm not trying to come off as overly-negative about this, I think the idea could work very well with perhaps a limit of 2 people per verses game or something along those lines, it could work out to be a very chess-paced style mode. Or perhaps more-so it may benefit from having a cooperative multi-player mode. I just feel the resources and time could be better spent on creating or polishing a more engrossing single-player experience.
Link / ReplyIf multiplayer is something that they'd ever feel they have to just stick on, for the sake of the more casual players out there, then certainly you'd hope it won't be at the expense of the single player experience. You can make it work with a limited number, like you say, but for instance sixteen Agent 47s running about a level trying to kill the same poor guy would be unworkable (if funny!) Further improving the presentation, the variety of approaches and options open to the player definitely seems to way forward to me. Do what they do just better again!
Link / ReplyI'm actually a lot more worried that they are trying to make this beefy story with live action cinematic's and stuff where they should be trying to make AI interaction more believable and realistic(if the cops see the bad guy shooting me, the cops will join them!!)! I would like to see NPC's response to the wolf in sheeps clothing that is 47. I want to see more interaction amongst NPCs(cop or civilian). They have the ground work already half baked in Blood Money, if they can just improve the formula there, they will have such a golden game.
Link / ReplyI've finished Hitman: Blood Money recently. I played each level in a variety of ways from outright hit and run (kill quick, GTFO ASAP), using whatever the devs planned (like that different people holding different keycards, cake, free disguises in the open, etc.), and also the most stealthy with the least violence as possible. I hope that this idea will be put into the new Hitman game but at the same time, I don't want another Blood Money. Would prefer the AIs notice when someone's missing, like on the highest difficulty. Another thing I would like is the ability to customize any weapon (collectibles). I never used anything outside silverballers and default sniper rifle for stealth plays because you can't silence/conceal the weapons at all.
Link / ReplyDavid: "I could see you as Shrek." Brad: "Because I'm fat?" David: "No. Because you're like this big--" I laughed.
Link / ReplyThat reminds me, I bought Hitman Blood Money during a Steam sale and never played it past the first mission. I should really reinstall it again and play through that game.
Link / ReplyI JUST figured out that I can listen to these on my PSP or my phone. Well, now I have way more opportunities to listen, so I'll be downloading way more often!
Link / ReplyPuss in Boots was introduced in Shrek 2, Brad....
Link / ReplyI would have liked to enjoy the video sadly all i could hear was the incessant clunking of cutlery on plate, jesus christ, please don't let that idiot loose on a podcast again. You're filming moron, constantly smacking your fork and knife off a plate does not a good podcast make. Just a shame it took the other guy so long to call him out on it
Link / ReplyPlease don't make a podcast while eating soup.. ^^
